Raising Brand Awareness for an Innovative Event Technology business

The Client

Is a market leader in innovative event technical delivery. Founded in 2007, the business had grown organically by providing exceptional creative visual production for both the corporate market and large productions such as the Eurovision Song Content. Due to the client focussed nature of their growth they were very strong operationally but had no in-house marketing capability, so sought a partner to help them raise their brand awareness through social media marketing. 

The Strategy

Loxley have worked with this client as part of their team since March 2016. After creating user personas to understand their target markets and their own digital presence it was recommended that the focus be on Facebook, where they already had an active presence and Twitter, where there was none.

Various strategies were used to tailor the specific content to each platform. We worked with the PR company to amplify press releases, live tweeted events and used Facebook advertising. High performing content was also turned into news articles for their website.

The nature of the business means that the team are very busy- over the 17 months, the relationships have developed so content is sent through directly to Loxley, freeing up their own management time.

The Results

By November 2017 there was a 62% increase in Facebook fans while keeping post engagement rate stable. Over the time period there have been some major algorithm changes and the strategy had been tweaked to ensure the client could continue to meet their objectives.

There was also over a 500% increase in Twitter followers with an average engagement rate of 2%
